This is the reqruitment season of the EFA program and a food canning compnay looking to sponsor 2 Hungarian students for the 2010 -2012 program. I attach copies of our bilingual brochure and a supplementary information sheet for interested candidates. An application form is also attached.
EFA , which is a program at "ingénieur" level ( Master 2) , has existed for 8 years and we have graduated 106 students from 18 different countries. All tuition, travel and health insurance costs are fully covered by the sponsoring company. The student is paid living expenses - a minimum of 675€ per month. Student accomodation in Angers costs in the region of 300€ per month, so this stipend is adequate to live on.
In view of the financial and human investment in the programme the students are expected to sign an agreement to work for the sponsoring company for a minimum of 2 years at the end of the programme. EFA is best understood as a 4-5year life/professional experience consisting of 2.5 years of training in France followed by a first job in a management position in the sponsoring company 's subsidiary in the home country for a minimum of 2 years - and hopefully much longer!
We are looking to recruit 2 Hungarian students into the 2010-2012 program : one with a solid Food Technology background and a second with a Crop Production background.
The sponsoring company is a vegetable - canning company who wishes to sponser a student motivated by food production and a second student to manage their vegetable production sites in Hungary.
The main requirements are :
1. A MSc level student - either in final year or already graduated . ( Food Technology and Crop Production in the Polish case)
3. Good level in English
4. Motivated by industry - particularly by Food Production
5. Interested in coming to France for 2.5 years of high quality training
6 Age limit: 26.
FRENCH IS NOT A REQUIREMENT AS WE PROVIDE 6 MONTHS OF INTENSIVE FRENCH LESSONS BEFORE BEGINNING THE PROGRAM
Candidates must enjoy challenges and be prepared to learn a new language and adapt to a new culture.
The selection process takes place in two steps :
1. Pre-selection by ESA
2. Final selection by the sponsoring company accompanied by an ESA representative.

First round of interviews will be held at SZIE during the week of 15 February by an ESA representative.
The second step of the process is undertaken by the company which meets students admitted into ESA and who have passed the first round of inteviews and are interesting candidates for the EFA programme. These second interviews will be organised during the month of April . The final selection into the porgram is made by the sponsoring companies.
